My nerves are getting the best of me. 8 more days until I try to finish this race. I've done this distance before, and I wasn't scared at all. Now that I know exactly what it all entails and how hard it is, I'm scared out of my britches.
I want to write all about Calvin's wrestling tournaments (he's doing fabulous) and spring, and Chris finishing his big paper (he has a few more small ones), and lots of other exciting things, but the truth is, when I get anxious like this, I feel overwhelmed and don't do ANYTHING I should be doing, like cleaning the house, making dinner, and playing with my kids. So, since I have so much to do to get ready, I'm kicking myself in the butt, unplugging the computer, and going offline until we get back. We are spending over a week in San Diego, then taking the long way home to do some sight seeing. I'll tell you all about it when we get back!

Good luck, Sarah. I wish I could bring my whole family over to cheer you on. We did your race (Britt, anyway) 4 years ago, and it was great. I can't believe it is this weekend. You probably won't see this till after you get back, but I will be thinking of you.
