Temple

When my sister Teala told me about the tickets you could get for the Draper Temple open house, I knew I wanted to make a special trip up to SLC and see the temple. We always talk about how wonderful the temple is, but I really wanted my boys to see just how beautiful it is. I wanted them to see inside the place they sang about in primary. I didn't want it to just be a place somewhere in their imaginations. Plus, I remember going to the LasVegas Temple open house as a youth, and absolutely LOVING it.
Here are some pics from the trip:Here is Andy on the bus ride to the temple. This is his first time on a bus, and he thought it was the cat's meow.Me and all my boys. It was such a wonderful experience. I got tears in my eyes when we were all in the Celestial Room together. I thought that must be what heaven felt like. I also thought that it might be the only time we were all in the temple together. I hope not, but you never know what tomorrow holds.Chris and all the boys waiting for the bus to take us back to our car. I wish I would have written about this sooner, because it was such a special experience, and I remember thinking that I couldn't wait to write my feelings down, but now they have all escaped me. :(

I remember Braxton telling me, with a glowing countenance, that he would never forget how beautiful the Celestial room was. I also remember looking into the endless mirrors in the sealing room and gazing into eternity with my little family. It was magical, and something I'll never forget either.

I love all the pics you took on your temple trip! My camera was broken so we didn't get any. I loved, loved loved the celestial room. Of course, I didn't like chasing Jocelyn around.
